It’s Wedding season and this year the calendar is packed with all of the ceremonies for the last two years. It’s time to start planning your wardrobe as a guest, and in our cover story this issue, Wendy Mitchell models three looks from St. John Boutique on location at Hotel Clio in Cherry Creek. Wendy Mitchell is the President and CEO of the Aurora Economic Development Council and has served in that capacity since 2001.  She is also the founder of Accelerate Colorado, an affiliate of Aurora EDC.

Mitchell attended the University of New Mexico and conducts leadership activities on numerous professional, civic and community boards and associations.  Current and previous groups that she has served include the Women’s Forum of Colorado Inc., Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, Denver Regional Council of Governments Regional Transportation Committee, Aurora Mental Health Board, Community College of Aurora Foundation Board, Citywide Bank Board, Southeast Business Partnership Ex-Officio of the Executive Committee, and Aurora Chamber of Commerce Board.
