The wedding dress has been tailored, the RSVPs are all accounted for, the ring has been re-sized and the venues booked - however, as the bride, you have another major decision ahead of you - how to style your Wedding Hair.

I know hair is one of the things on your never-ending wedding to-do lists, but for me, hair is your crowning glory and is up there with the dress. The requirements seem simple enough, you want to look elegant, timeless, glamorous but not too overworked, the list goes on and on, and to achieve all that you need the hairstylist of dreams.

For me, finding that person is like finding a needle in a haystack,  it is tough and therefore I would spend months searching for ‘the one' level of importance. Darlings, I don’t want any of you walking down the aisle with prom worthy corkscrew curls, OTT tiaras looking like you just won Miss Colorado, and to put it bluntly, anyone who's watched Four Weddings & A Funeral will know, crunchy curls and bouffant perms didn't quite make it into the next decade. Luckily for you, however,  I have found the creme de la creme - the hair salon with stylists SO good you need not worry, but be excited for your big day and to have the best hair of your life - Big statement I know, but I stand by it 100%.

The Sweet Boho Bun

The Sweet Boho Bun

I met Lindsay, Owner and Head Stylist of Elle B Salon whilst filming a segment for Daily Blast Live and was instantly impressed by her styling skills. Fast forward six months later and I had a MAJOR hair disaster, I had just had the worst cut and color (My hair was orange. No joke) of my life and I needed someone to not only rescue me but to bring me back to life. Lindsay did all of that and more - I went from feeling like an abused tiger (I forgot to mention the orange also came with green stripes - I kid you not, I was so upset!) to feeling like I was about to walk the red carpet at the Oscars. That was about two years ago and I have never looked back!

This time, I went to Lindsay with a new challenge - Wedding Hair Looks. I already know she’s the master of color, extensions, and styling but this time, it was for a totally different purpose. As ever, she did not disappoint, and alongside her wonderful Lead Bridal Stylist, Krista Corey, they came up with three beautiful looks at the new Elle B Salon location on Federal Blvd (You must go check it out, it is an oasis of hair and beauty pampering heaven) to give you all the feels and inspiration ahead of your big day.

LOOK 1: THE SWEET BOHO BUN

The bun retains its status as a bridal classic. The hairstyle is bound to work no matter your hair texture or type. Buns are perfect to show off your neckline, highlight your jewelry and or makeup. The Sweet Boho Bun is deconstructed, loose, and very feminine.

LOOK 2: EFFORTLESS DECONSTRUCTED CHIGNON

The Effortless Deconstructed Chignon is relaxed, and slightly disheveled meaning you need not worry about flyaways or baby hairs. The hair being at the base of the neck is incredibly chic and timeless.

LOOK 3: FLOWER CHILD WITH A TWIST

Brides looking to wear their hair down or in a  half up half down hairstyle can wear a lush floral halo or pin a few strands with a delicate hairpiece.  These waves are beachy, flirty, and effortless 'I woke up like this' finished with a bejeweled hairband.

The style you choose needs to represent you and the vibe of the wedding. Whether you're after something more romantic, sophisticated, rock chick or beachy, Lindsay and her team will help find a hairstyle that's right for you. Things to remember, just like finding the dress of your dreams or your skincare prep - to ensure getting your hair just right takes time and dedication. Elle B Salon recommends starting booking dates 4-6 months ahead of your wedding date if you’d like hairstylists on site. If you wish to get glorious locks in the salon, you can book more in the 2-3 month range.
