Get ready to glow on the slopes. Halfdays, an outdoor brand founded and designed by and for women — just launched their new collection of ski wear.  The collection of versatile outdoor layers are built to conquer the outdoors, from the slopes to après. The line is designed to bridge the gap between luxury and technical brands and inject fun, lightheartedness and approachability into the sport. The new collection features eight cold weather must-haves, ranging from $95 for the base layer top & leggings to $495 for a puffer jacket.

One: Bye-Bye, Boys Club

The founders spoke with hundreds of women skiers, outdoor lovers, and “outdoorsy-ish” consumers. The result was a resounding feeling of being left out by a male-dominated industry in which options only exist for the pinnacle athlete or the luxury consumer. Halfdays exists to rebel against this status quo by focusing on the everyday outdoorsy-ish consumer, moving away from the “hardcore-outdoor” toward a new inclusivity. With versatile designs and colors, their intention is to inspire and encourage women of all levels (from the champion skier to the one-run-and-done apèrs-er) to feel good about getting out on the mountain.

Two: Technical Meets Chic

The newest collection is inspired by the modern woman - who doesn’t want to sacrifice fit, fashion or function when it comes to her ski wear. Designed by Olympic skier Kiley McKinnon, the new collection brings together the technical elements for performance without sacrificing on style. Available in sizes ranging from XS - 3XL.

Three: Sustainably Designed

Halfdays’ outerwear is made from 100% recycled polyester and all core materials are Bluesign certified. Their active layers are made with Ecocare recycled nylon and designed leveraging seamless technology, which minimizes leftover fabric waste. The products are manufactured in Vietnam and Colombia with factories that meet fair labor standards and take efforts to reduce their environmental impact.
