New Fitness Studio // AKT: The popular boutique fitness studio developed by celebrity trainer Anna Kaiser, AKT just open their first out of state location in Denver in Cherry Creek North. The new studio is one of 25 AKT locations expected to open by the end of 2019, including a second Denver location at Lot Twenty Eight in RiNo slated for late 2019. Dancer, choreographer, and certified fitness instructor, Anna Kaiser, opened her first AKT studio in 2013 on the Upper East Side of Manhattan after introducing her privately trained clients to the revolutionary cardio-based dance workout. She has since become the preferred trainer for high-profile clientele, including LIVE with Kelly & Ryan host, Kelly Ripa as well as international singing sensation, Shakira. Rooted in functional training that allows the body to move in a dynamic way, each AKT studio class is between 45-60 minutes in duration and incorporates a full spectrum of fitness elements from dance to strength training and plyometrics. With four unique class modalities – dance, bands, tone and circuit, AKT is a workout for all body types and fitness levels. AKT Cherry Creek is home to one state-of-the-art studio outfitted with top-of-the-line fitness equipment. 2445 E. 3rd Street.

New Clothing Line // Not Pedestrian, by AM:  Not Pedestrian, by AM is the long-awaited Menswear Line from the fashion house ANN MARIE. Ann Marie F. Clark, President and Brand Creative Designer of ANN MARIE DESIGN, INC. created a brand that encompasses the three core values both men and women are wanting to see in the fashion industry; sustainability, value and environmentally conscious. Every garment is hand created, produced locally in Denver’s very own Cherry Creek North by a production team that only produces both the Menswear and Women’s lines with prints created by Ann Marie F Clark. The company focuses on little to no waste of fabric by the Bespoke approach and utilizing extra fabric to create the Menswear Collars and Cuffs or Scarfs for the Women’s Line. All fabric is print on demand and we use a pigment printing process rather than a reactive dye approach to eliminate toxicity to the environment. Not Pedestrian, by AM Menswear line, is outspoken, yet timeless with the bespoke value placed in creating each Date Night Shirt to ensure you buy a dress shirt to last a lifetime! Not Pedestrian, by AM, will launch just in time for the holidays. 274 Detroit Street.

Store Event // White Peacock: Cherry Creek North’s White Peacock, is owned and curated by the Brass Bed’s Doug Parsons, Molly Myers, and Olivia Louis.  At White Peacock you’ll find the world’s finest hand-painted china, mouth-blown glass, hand-forged flatware, yarn-dyed napkins and tablecloths, specialty gifts, bridal registry and more. This much-needed concept came to fruition when the three owners were talking about opening a sister store to the Brass Bed.  After much discussion and given the long absence of International Villa, they thought that this new store would be filling a much-needed category in Denver. Visit White Peacock for their Grand Opening Event Saturday, October 19th.  There will be a 15% discount on everything in-store and for specials orders. A portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated to Project Angel Heart to help feed people in need. 2440 E 3rd Avenue.
