Shopping centers like Cherry Creek fuel the local economy and help our neighbors and our community get back to work. With over 3,000 employees from the Denver area, Cherry Creek Shopping Center wants to thank you for putting our community first and supporting those that live and work in it.

Cherry Creek Shopping Center presents the Community First initiative which includes shining a spotlight on the wonderful employees at various brands and supporting charities and organizations in the community. In part 8 of our 8-part weekly Community First Series, we feature Trés Tallman of HUGO BOSS.

Cherry Creek Fashion: How long have you worked at HUGO BOSS at Cherry Creek?

Trés Tallman: I have worked at HUGO BOSS for 7 1/2 years. My career with BOSS began in our old temporary location while our current location was being remodeled.

CCF: How long have you lived in the Denver area, and what do you enjoy the most about living here?

Trés: I am a Colorado native and grew up in Pueblo. I moved to San Diego to attend college for Graphic Arts where my interest in Fashion started to develop. I came back to the Denver area in 2009 with my wife and kids to raise my family around the culture and diversity I had been missing.

CCF: When you are not at work, what are your favorite things to do?

Trés: When I am not at work, I spend all my time with my family. I have three girls and my youngest, our first boy, is almost two years old. We love hanging out together and working on home improvement projects, cooking, or playing arcade games in our basement.

CCF: Are you involved in any community organizations or charities in the Denver area?

Trés: One of my longtime clients, David Bruton, partnered with the Mile High United Way Reading Corps and created "Bruton's Books" which helps create strong readers in kids ages K-3 in low-income areas. His mission has really inspired me, especially having children of my own that are of similar ages.

CCF: In addition to HUGO BOSS, what are your favorite stores and restaurants to visit at Cherry Creek?

Trés: Not to sound biased, but you will always find me shopping at BOSS as I truly consider it to be the best menswear in the state. I also love to shop for my kids at Janie & Jack. My favorite restaurant in the mall would be Kona Grill because they have great variety and there is something for everyone on the menu.

CCF: What’s your favorite motivational quote?

Trés: One of my favorite motivational quotes as well as one I'm sure my clients would say that they hear me repeat is "Every day above ground is a great day." by Armando Christion Perez.
