Cherry Creek Fashion: Sarah, tell us a bit about yourself and what you do.

Sarah Chance: I am a brown-eyed midwestern girl who has ended up living throughout all of our beautiful country in the course of my career. For the past 7 years, I have lived in Boulder and Denver, and Colorado is definitely my home as I can’t imagine living anywhere else. I had a wonderful career in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry for 30 years, before starting my own keynote speaking business, Sarah Chance Speaking, two years ago.

CCF: Keynote speaking is your passion! Explain what you do and why it has become your calling?

SC: I work to help organizations increase productivity, improve employee engagement, and to help teams find balance. Companies bring me in to hear how to uniquely leave a legacy by simply and genuinely caring about the success of others. In my keynote talks, I discuss how to make people your purpose, in order to achieve top results while also reaching ultimate fulfillment in your career. It starts with bringing your best possible self to work each and every day, truly focusing on maximizing your strengths and those of your team, and with joy and authenticity exceeding every goal on your path.

CCF: How would you describe your style?

SC: My go-to casual look tends to be jeans, boots, and a cool hat, but I am always also looking for polished, dressed-up business attire and flirty date-night options. A Line dresses me for every aspect of my life and always delivers whatever my need or mood might be that day.

CCF: Where do you find your style inspiration?

SC: I find my inspiration everywhere!  My nieces, magazines, TV, movies, and just seeing really great looks out and about in Denver.

CCF: How were you first introduced to A Line and why is it your go to boutique?

SC: I was living near Union Station at the time, when I noticed a gorgeous new store opening up two blocks from my home. When I stopped in the first time, I was blown away by all the incredible offerings, labels that you won’t find anywhere else in Denver, travel packing, in-home appointments, the list goes on.

The best part of A line is that you are never shopping alone. I immediately met Jack (Savoie) and he has been dressing me for work and fun ever since. Jack has a sense of my personal preference and what will look great on me. Most often, there are several full looks pulled and waiting for me when I walk in the front door. I truly feel like A Line is a part of my extended family and it is a blast every time I go visit them!

CCF: Who are your favorite designers?

SC: I would say Jack might have to answer this for me! A Line makes it easy to fall in love with the style, fit and fabrication before ever seeing a label. It’s more about how it makes me feel. Ramy Brook, Rachel Comey, Mother, Paige, and Re/Done top the list of my A Line staples.

CCF: How does A Line style you for your lifestyle, your career, and your “new normal”?

SC: My newest need is to look fantastic in a virtual setting, and A Line has been a savior in terms of keeping me Zoom-ready.  It requires a great top in solid colors that films well, statement accessories, and lots of trial and error. Most of my work is now based in my in-home studio. When it comes time for “lights, camera, and action,” I always feel confident that I am looking my best when it is time to present.
