Welcome to THE MEN’S ISSUE 2019
Where do I even begin! Cherry Creek Fashion Magazine focuses on telling inspiring and interesting stories through the lens of fashion, and so far we have ignored the male population. Can you blame us? Denver has a wealth of impressive women who are achieving great things! But alas, the men of this city also have stories to share and we have dedicated this issue to them. We can all learn something from each other and hopefully the life journeys of the wonderful men featured will inspire and encourage you.
Our cover star is the very charming Dmitriy Metsaev, owner of Icon Suit in Cherry Creek North. Dmitriy’s journey from his childhood in Lithuania and studies in Russia to opening his store in Denver is a must read. Tatsu Ogata, his right hand man, also shares his path from the music world to becoming a sought after stylist.
Our feature story this month is the very impressive Restaurateur Bobby Stuckey of Frasca Food & Wine and Tavernetta. Bobby has developed a worldwide reputation for excellent service and must visit restaurants.
I was extremely pleased to be asked to be a part of the new marketing campaign for Cherry Creek North. Another participant was Buyer & Stylist at Garbarini Timothy Rollins, who gave us a rundown of working on set with the talented photographer Jeff Nelson. Timothy also dishes out some invaluable style advice.
We are always interested in knowing how retail projects are started and built, and in this Men’s Issue, Raz Gnat of Gnat Jewelry Atelier and Raan Parton, creator of Free Market share their stories.
We also got a peek into the homes and closets of two very stylish men; Michael Silverman, Managing Director of Samantha Brands Group, and Jason Belaire, the incoming President of the Industrial Designers Society of America.
Rounding off our group of very impressive men is Dane Hiett, creator of Chef Dane’s Kitchen, whose Pop-Up dinners are a hot ticket in town!
